Agreed on KD.
Has anyone heard from MJ in the last day or two? Wondering if we should go ahead and start lookin at auto-pick options.

Micahel Jordan is my backup SG. That's how good this team is.

Starting to like my team, just thought I'd post it here so that you guys could see this eras winning team...
Wheres Pippen?
Payton
Durant
Marion
Dyse
Dampier/Miller
Already have the best rebounding team of this era. Might have the best shot blocking as well.

In this era, he wasn't great. 12/6/5, all-defensive 2nd team

All Defensive 2nd isn't bad!
This is definitely going to be an interesting round, there aren't any teams that look a cut above the rest.

There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Re: RGM Dynasty Keeper League Discussion
Cellar's intrigue about what season I pick for Pierce has got me thinking - how much do people value statistics in a given season over how good the player was?
Case in point - Paul Pierce:
2006 - 26.8 points, 6.7 rebounds...
2007 - 25 points, 5.9 rebounds...
2008 - 19.6 points, 5.1 rebounds...
I don't think Pierce declined in at all, but there were significant changes to his team that influenced his points and rebounding numbers, as well as his minutes played. I'd argue he was every bit as good in 2008 despite the numbers; and in actual fact his defense improved as he bought into that culture.
Then it got me thinking that this happens with so many players. For instance some might suggest 94 Shaq was stastically similar to 2000 Shaq but actually he was far better by 2000.
Thoughts?

Re: RGM Dynasty Keeper League Discussion
It's one of those things I have to be convinced of in a player's specific situation. I think Shaq represents an obvious case. A not so obvious case is Jordan, who I believe steps onto another level around 89 from 86-88, but there's not a lot indicating that looking at his stats. Similar arguments could be made for some of Lebron's seasons, and Wade has an explosive season on a "worse" team as well.
It really makes you wonder how many of these people we rip on for not winning really ARE on these guys' levels and just haven't had the surroundings the others did (TMAC and Vince come to mind)

Also,
Penny/
Carter/Bowen
Hill/Bowen/Kukoc
Brand/Davis/Horry
Chandler/Olajuwon
I'm liking my team more than I figured I would this era actually.

Pesonaly I care more about FG% than I do about PPG. Theres maybe 5 players in any one era that will have similar ppg in this type of setting as they did that yr. MJ didnt fail to score 30ppg for the Dream Team because of the great defense of Angola and it wasnt because he lost a step or was injured.
