Thanks for posting that video.

Crazy how well AK does in a open/passing system. I'm glad we don't run it but I think I only saw AK post up (semi post up..) once at the end of that video. Just a bunch of 3 point shooting, slashing to the basket and creating problems for the other team. He's a great player and he'd do really well in Phoenix or New York..

tough decision for KOC once this lockout is over.

Fun to see AK play like that. He does a lot of work on the court, some fills stat sheets, some doesn't.

i love AK, he needs to play for the team where he will be a leader, i don't think that any NBA team will give him such role))

Better to return to the Native Russia.

But he will be a great 6 man for the Jazz.

My dream is that Ak will develop Hayward defensive skills. Or Evans. Or both.

I think we still need him. Without a real point guard, his offensive execution and creation is more important than ever. Plus, his defensive coverage is still very important. I'm crossing my fingers for the home town discount.

dude can be useful for every nba team.... problem was his salary. We'll see with the next CBA how many money he'll command.

I think the Russian coach (his name is eluding me at the moment) described AK perfectly. He is like a wild horse, you need to just let him go and let him do his own thing to see his true "beauty". He needs to be put into an uptempo and free flowing system where is allowed to roam and do what he does best.

The Russian game plan for him was to let him do whatever he wanted to do and it worked. He is talented enough that he doesn't need a system built around him, he makes his own system. AK is the probably one of the most talented free roaming players to ever play the game. Problem is that he was stuck here on one of the most rigid and structured teams in history.

If Corbin ups the tempo and opens up the system a bit more so it's not so rigid AK will flourish.

I've always said that AK still has all the talent and tools to be a top 10 player in the league, he just needs the right system and/or coach.

Ak's style worked effectively when he played with untalented players in the NBA due to his athleticism. Injuries and age have limited his athletic advantage over NBA level players. and more talented players around him have spread the ball more. He is well past his time to dominate at the NBA level or to arrange a team around him. He should move on.

He seems to play better and thrives with the ball in his hands during these international games. He's always want to play a Point Forward here but never really has got that opportunity.
