Yeah. My only point is that there is no definition for "processing the catch". Can I catch the ball at the 5 on a swing pass, get clipped as I catch it and stumble forward into the endzone only to lose the ball when I hit the ground and it isn't a catch? You may as well get rid of the "ground can not cause a fumble" rule if that is the interpretation.
Actually, Arian Foster had a play similar to that last year.
He caught it at the 2 and stumbled into the endzone. To support himself when he got in (this was after about 3-4 steps) he used the hand with the ball in it to prop himself up and it popped out.
Incomplete pass. Once again, the rule is enforced the stupid way they say it should be.
