The Bitching Thread

Post#1 » by Maritimer » Mon Sep 12, 2011 6:44 pm

Everyone likes to complain about their fantasy team. Here's the place to do it. Feel free to mock people if they lost because they got too cute, and to be sympathetic to those who deserve it. For instance, if you started CJ2K, Mendenhall and Blount this week (totally possible for a team to have those three as clear starters), my sincere condolences.

Only thing I have to bitch about is how much I hate the ESPN Fantasy interface. It's so stupid. The difficulty of use with it is completely unecessisary. Yahoo is about a million times better.

Started CJ2K and Bowe, thanks for the combined 6.6 points guys. I also have S. Jax, thanks for getting hurt after your 1st carry. I also had Ben Tate and S. Smith on my bench! :banghead:

Oof.

I got burned by Steve Smith too, but differently. I'm going into my third year of a keeper league. Had Steve Smith on my roster the first two years, and finally parted ways this summer (we keep 5 players each year). Thanks for the memories.

Man that sucks. I picked him up late hoping newtons scrambling would lead to him having some big plays. I am now thinking about trading him while his stock is high....thoughts?

I played against Welker/McFadden tonight and went from up 51 to only winning by 1. Almost a bad night.

DeAngelo, Ingram and Owen Daniels...wooooooo

Lowest point total in the league and lost to the second lowest. Blown opportunity.

Also **** Tony Romo. The guy has Jay Cutler-like decision making. If he gets in on that run he fumbled on or if Witten gets in on that 60 yard pass I win. Or even if he doesn't throw that ridiculous pick to Revis I win (was facing Folk so it was a double whammy).

Fantasy foot ball is like playing golf. Things go wrong the majority of the time and is extremely frustrating, but when you have the one great week is keeps you addicted to the game.

I hate DeAngelo Williams and Jeremy Maclin until further notice.

Especially DeAngelo.

Hoping DeAngelo continues to struggle so Stewart gets more carries!

I would keep him as he's going to get the bulk of Newton's throws this year.

Smith, Shockey, and Olsen; that's it. LaFell is emerging as a second receiver and Naanee is a joke. Steve should be good for at least five receptions for most games.

I've had Dexter on my bench since I has 18 roster spots. I think his value will go up but he's 5'8" and 170 lbs so he isn't going to get a ton of carries. That being said he could blow up in the right packages since he's lightning quick and well there is no Charles.

Sure am glad I took Arian Foster #1. He's got me 6 total points this year and will most likely cost me a win this week unless Nicks blows up tonight. Should have gone with Rice.

Gates and Charles screwed me this week(and possibly the season).

I now have to hope Caddy gives me 23 points tonight. Yay.
