Romo Hurt Need A QB

Post#1 » by Bleeding Blue » Mon Sep 19, 2011 10:11 pm

Romo has a cracked rib and punctured lung and I didnt draft a backup QB :banghead:

These guys are all available:

Henne, Newton, Fitzpatrick, Grossman, Sanchez

Newton has had 2 good weeks, but I guess he has a walking boot on....u like any of these guys or maybe trade for a QB?

I'd go with either Fitzpatrick or Henne

If Newton is healthy, I think I'd risk it with him. Otherwise Fitzpatrick, then Grossman and Henne as 2nd/3rd and the order depending on preference.

Thanks guys, I was thinking the same thing as both of you....just wanted some other opinions....

Who would you drop

ocho cinco, julio jones, jacoby ford, dustin keller, jonathon stewart

Jacoby seems the obvious one, but I think he may put up good #'s in the future, keller is having a great year so far, julio has big upside, and JS should get some solid TD's this year....ocho may become part of the offense at some point...

Don't you dare drop Stewart. Williams is toast, and Stew Beef will be getting 70%+of snaps by mid-season (IMO).

Keller is in deed having a good season, but having a back up TE is only worth it if your starter is shaky (like in my situation, where I have Clark and am not confident in he'll be a top 10 TE without Manning). If you feel like it has to be a WR, it's Ford. As the ESPN guys put it, he's just "a guy". You can find waiver wire players throughout the year who will give you what he does. Ocho and Jones both have real upside (Ocho because he's still learning how to fit in), whereas with Ford I have a hard time envisioning him as a top 30 WR in any given week.

You are probably right....you think a guy in my league would go for keller 4 Bradford...his starting TE just got hurt and has zach miller as backup

That sounds fair. It's a reasonable starting point, at least.
