Week 3: Non-Packers

Post#1 » by LUKE23 » Tue Sep 20, 2011 7:47 pm

It's odd rooting for the Vikings in week 3, but that is exactly what I'll be doing this Sunday.

Also, go Texans, Giants, Ravens, Seahawks, Bucs, Bengals, Jags.

Why do they always shove these poop matchups down our throat in primetime?

I know the answer, but it's just dumb.

AND, If Tony, Dez, and Austin don't go and Felix is limited, the game could be downright putrid, lol.

Washington is alone in first place in the NFC East so don't they deserve a Monday night game. :D

Damn, sunday night game looks weak now because of Manning's injury. MNF might be interesting. I can't really tell how good/bad a team washington is. same with dallas too.

Buffalo won't hang around long but Washington should stay in the mix.

I think Buffalo's passing offense is for real, and Wash should be fer realer than Dallus this week

This. I dont think their D will hold up, but their offense (for a bunch of no names, really) is very good. Fitz, Johnson, and Fred Jackson is a pretty good offensive core that is pretty underrated.

They remind me of the texans for the last few years with less superstar power

Wife got the ticket because she's tired of me hanging around in bars on a Sunday, and I did/have watched the Bills a good bit this year for some odd reason. I think their offense is definitely for real and will stay as such, although no, they're not a playoff-caliber team yet. But with a last place schedule and some upheaval in the AFC I think they could definitely sneak in that last wildcard.

Redskins are finally doing it right, drafting patiently instead of signing Albert Haynesworth on 12:01 on signing day and outbidding themselves. But they simply aren't good enough to endure, especially with sexy Rexy. They are definitely on an upward path though.

Texans/Saints? I'll be watching that one primarily this week...

Pretty good read on Pats' Brady in the middle of historic run of QB effectiveness

The New York Giants will be without Wide Receiver, Domenick Hixon, for the remainder of the 2011 season. Hixon tore his ACL on Monday Night, the same ACL he tore in 2010.

Patriots placed C Dan Koppen (leg) and DL Myron Pryor (shoulder) on injured reserve and signed DB Phillip Adams and DL Landon Cohen.

WR Braylon Edwards is out a few weeks after having knee surgery
