Week 3: Jets 24 Raiders 34 Final

Post#1 » by Rich Rane » Sun Sep 25, 2011 3:29 pm

First of a three-game road trip. Oakland can score, but let's see if they could do it against a top defense. As long as the Jets offense limits penalties and turnovers along with finishing drives, the Jets should win.

Eric Smith is awful in coverage. Poole should be starting.

No C, West coast trip, a team coming off a tough loss and playing better than recent years...I'm worried this is a trap game.

How did the front office not strengthen the offensive line in the offseason?

we always have trouble killing the game in the first half...ty Mulligan for your stone hands

this OL went from the best in Rex's first season to below average this season, the pocket is collapsing on Sanchez every other play

the defense was **** and has gotten progressively worst since Rex's first season

Seriously, put all our eggs in the Ducasse basket and expected Wayne Hunter to be a stud. Awful!

Sanchez did really well considering the pressure he faced all second half. The D got hit up by Mcfadden but a couple of those Interference calls on Cro were AWFUL.

exposed where.. I think it was the worst officiated game I have ever seen... cromartie got killed on like 3 BS calls..

Also the jets offense has to go for the kill early and often, this slant, and 5 yard predictable pass offense sucks...

Just disgusting to lose to this raider team that really did nothing well today except benefit off of two broken plays for long runs..

cro was still awful, he didnt help himself much either with the special teams blunder either, looks like that "soft" label may not be all that exaggerated after all

the D still has holes in it its gotten progressively worse since Ryan came in his first season, which is ironic since we have the better team on paper......absolute no pass rusher on the line is killing us, dont care how great the coverage is when Jason Campbell has 15 seconds to throw it hes going to find somebody, I didnt see any1 on that D-line really hurry or hit Campbell (damn you Jenkins and your injuries), they do good usually in clogging up the running lanes (though that didnt happen today) but they cant put pressure on the QB worth ****.....our safties are below average, Jimmy is good concerning organizing the D but hes so physically limited, only thing Eric Smith has going for him is that hes a alright tackler, but you cant tackle **** when you blow your coverage on the fvkn TE....the D is a worry, we have allowed 400+ yds to two teams who will be lucky to get into the playoffs

Shotty is still a (Please Use More Appropriate Word), we saw this last year and we see it this year Sanchez looks best when hes not taking any calls from him, I know that the loss shouldnt be on him but christ almighty i dont no how much more proof you need that this guy is beyond horrible @ play-calling

id rather not even comment on the OL, Baxter did alright concerning who he is and what he was asked to do....but Wayne Hunter is so beyond garbage its not even funny, if I knew that Sanchez wouldnt get decapitated id put Ducasse in

I agree, losing jenkins was huge. He was a one man pass rush up the middle. If the jets are not blitzing, they have no rush, and when you give guys, even scrubs like jason campbell 20 seconds to find someone, they will.... The lack of a pass rush and athleticism at the safety spot is really hurting us....
