Awesome win! The team showed a lot of moxie today, when not showing up for the second half is something most Lions teams of years past would have done. Offense turned it on and CJ is literally uncoverable. Titus Young continues to impress and Pettigrew was solid all day

But the line is bad. Best didn't hit the hole with authority and was dancing too much, but its not like he had a lot of room back there with dudes up in his grill the second he touched it. And that two false start/give up the sack play by Backus in the 4th was unreal. Both tackles got routinely smoked today. The Backus/Hillard/Cherilus rotation has no easy fix, but the Jason Fox era needs to start when he gets healthy.

I know Ice is usually a Backus fan, but even you Jeff cannot justify todays performance, or lack thereof

After watching the game, I don't care about all the negatives. For me the bottom line is they came roaring back in the second from a 0-20 hole. Lions of old wouldn't have been able to rip of 23 straight points, or have the mojo to come back from that disasterous set at the end of the 4th to win in OT.

I'm loving what Schwartz and Mayhew have done, can't argue with those results, at the end of the day we are 3-0.

Also, CJ is not human.

The biggest and most important player to surprise me on this team is (young ) everthing thrown to him he catches just like calvin johnson..

Brandon Pettigrew (11 catches, 112 yards), to rookie Titus Young (four for 51)

I need help. There is a serious possibility of believing in this team, and getting lost in a sea of lions butter and cornbread. What do I do? Believe? Or be sane and know that their ass's are going to whooped in Dallas next week?

This win, wether you want to pin it on the Vikings collapse(again) or not, showed that these lions have the ability to keep their minds together when facing adversity, and stafford is startling to really look like a #1 overall pick and CJ is not of this planet.

I think I'm in danger of drowning people.

Lions need to do better running they only had 20 yards for the game, thats shocking.

Jeff Backus has to be released of keeped as a back up rarely used, otherwise stafford could get injured because of him not stopping the rush.

I don't see Best is a every down RB at all....offensive line is the weakest part of the lions can they fix it?.

the Lions pulled off their biggest comeback from a halftime deficit in team history, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Are you trying to say that he should be released or demoted?
Best isn't an every down back. Thats why they drafted Leshore. They got screwed by his injury.

Not that I think Backus is great, but he was matched up with one of the most explosive Defensive linemen in the NFL in Jared Allen.

Great win but it also shed a light on the deficiencies of the line. Backus was brutal, Cherilus/HIlliard were even worse. To be fair Minny has a great DL and they were fired up playing at home, but that was embarrassing.

I'm not really a Backus guy but I do think most fans think he is worse than he really is. He belongs at right tackle and Jared Allen will not be the only guy to light him up like that. I was disappointed that the Lions didn't scheme much to help their overmatched tackles. It was better after halftime but that was a gme that screamed for 12 personnel (1 RB, 2 TE) with Pettigrew and Scheffler both lined tight. I think I saw that formation once.

Suh played a very good game but the star to me was VandenBosch. He was fantastic and the instigator for the action. A little upset that SL Hill took those dumb penalties when given more of a chance to play early. Another strong game from Speivey, very encouraged by his progress, and yes I am choosing to ignore his missed tackle on the Harvin run.

Like I said before the game, people forget that Minny has all that top-shelf talent like Allen, Harvin, Peterson, and Kevin Williams. Beating them in Minnesota is a real accomplishment and the manner by which the Lions did it has to make you excited.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Well this team still has some serious design and process flaws, so I wouldn't invest the maximum possible amount of hope that you are capable of. Just enjoy the ride and see what happens and maybe it will work out.
