Cards lose. Good.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm actually not. I have nothing against the Red Sox. They don't have an A-Rod/Pujols-type tool playing for them at all, and they have a great offense. I loved the comeback from 0-3 against the Yankees, and that was the most fun I've ever had watching non-Brewer baseball, by far. They still have some players from that team so I still kind of like them.

Also, if it doesn't involve the Brewers I often like to see teams that will draw the most fan support for the game, and I think that's the Sox. Everybody will cheer for the Rays, but they will forget them as soon as this story goes away.

While the Sox don't have a Yankees sized payroll they are still way above most teams. Plus they've won twice recently. Plus Bostonians are way too snobby. I'll take the Rays every day of the week.

Aren't the Sox #2 in payroll just behind the Yankees? That's why I hate them so much. People ignore the fact that they are built just like the Yankees. Free agent after free agent with a home grown guy sprinkled in here and there. Also, the whole "Sawks Nation" is annoying because their fans are like Cards fans with more annoying accents. F*ck em.

I don't like Boston fans but I guess that doesn't affect what I think of the team. It's also not the Boston players' fault that baseball is set up to favor rich teams in big markets, so I don't hold that against them either.

dont get me wrong i liked the sox back when they won the whole thing the 1st time, especially beating the yankees in the alcs. They, especially this offseason, have gone the way of the yankees in grabbing all of the top FAs the year after they dont make the playoffs

It will be interesting to see if BA is assigned the Brewers series in round 1

Brewers broadcaster Brian Anderson will serve as the lead play-by-play announcer for the TBS' telecasts in the League Division Series and National League Championship Series in the upcoming baseball playoffs.

Anderson replaces TBS' lead play-by-play baseball announcer Ernie Johnson, who will not work the playoffs because his son is ill and in the hospital.

"My son Michael has muscular dystrophy and he has been in intensive care for the last two weeks and is expected to remain hospitalized for several more weeks,” Johnson said in a statement. “At this time, my job is to be with Michael and my family. Cheryl and I have a positive attitude, a strong faith and amazing support system especially within Turner Sports.”

Anderson, who has been the television voice of the Brewers since 2007, has worked baseball playoff games for Turner Sports the last three seasons and regular-season telecasts for the last two seasons.

Anderson will work playoff telecasts with analysts John Smoltz and Ron Darling.

The other broadcasting teams are Dick Stockton and Bob Brenly; Don Orsillo and Buck Martinez; and Victor Rojas and Joe Simpson. Rojas has called games for the Dodgers, Rangers and Diamondbacks.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, hope the best for that kid.

As for BA, I would guess they would put him on the other series just to avoid a conflict of interest. I think BA has done a good job in the past on TBS but I would think they want to avoid any potential issues whether perceived or real.

Isn't the Yankees series on Fox? I think Fox gets the ALDS and TBS get the NLDS.

All first round games are on TBS, both NL and AL. For the LCS Fox has the NL and TBS has the AL. And then Fox has the WS.

Although the scheduled start times are spread out to try to avoid overlap I'm assuming the start of some games would be on TNT should the game before not be completed.

TBS has the NLCS, hence why BA is doing the NLCS

Fox has the ALCS and TBS has the NLCS, I think they alternate them every year.

Would be cool if there was a double playoff.

Of course I'd prefer that the Red Sox just flat out don't make it, but double one game playoff would be cool.
