It's not smart on the Marlins end for giving up a couple PTBNLs, being as he could have just gone there without the extension. Ozzie said he would walk without an extension, but I guess the Marlins wanted to lock him up.

I love when Ozzie goes off, and he might be the biggest draw for the Marlins in a while. With him, Stanton launching balls into the dark seats at the new stadium and a new name (Miami Marlins), the Marlins have a decent future ahead of em.

Agreed.

Guillen will be a draw to create interest, especially in Little Havana.....and the Marlins have a lot of young talent to grow with.....so the future in Miami could be very bright.
