2012 Hall of Fame candidates

Post#1 » by Icness » Thu Sep 29, 2011 3:56 pm

From Yahoo:
Retired coaches Bill Cowher, Bill Parcells and Marty Schottenheimer are among the modern-era candidates for the 2012 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Cowher is eligible for the first time, as are players Keyshawn Johnson, Tiki Barber, Drew Bledsoe, Stephen Davis, Rod Smith, Will Shields, Troy Vincent and Mike Vanderjagt

I don't see a first-ballot guy there except maybe Shields. Could be a good year for some holdovers like Cris Carter, Willie Roaf, Dick Vermiel, Curtis Martin to get in.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

if willie roaf, a dominating tackle cant get in 1st ballot it's tough to see an all-pro guard in shields, but who knows, both deserve it

id like to see charles haley get voted in, but it's a wait and see thing. i just dont want jerome bettis to make it
