Patriots @ Raiders. Time to Seymour.

Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Sat Oct 1, 2011 7:27 pm

Regular Season Record: 2-1

Image

New England Patriots @ Oakland Raiders
Sunday October 2nd, 2011. 4:15 PM.
TV: CBS. Radio: 98.5 Sports Hub.

Richard Seymour vs his old team. Should be fun to see him again, but the bigger story is an emerging Oakland team hot off of a win against the NY Jets at home. We're going to be in for a game. Run DMC vs our improved 4-3. Unless Brady throws 4 picks again, I see a close win. The patriots after a loss are almost unbeatable, and I don't see them losing this one.

Go Pats!!!

Can tell Seymour up for this game! Got his old step back he was lacking towards the end of his tenure here! Should be interesting☺.

Ugh. This defense couldn't stop an LFL team's offense...

Yeah he threw it right too him, but that was key for us. We're leading, we're driving, and we get the ball at half.

I just hope this team can make it to the end of the game. They're dropping like flies.

They haven't even been playing that bad. It's been a solid game against a tough team. But....

Mayo
Woodhead
Love

how can ya not feel down right now? Mayo took his wrist tape off, and had to be helped off the field. That's not a good sign.

At least it looks like we got a win here (holding my breath).

The defense still has issues! Our guys just don't have a rush, and our DB's just can't cover for that long. Also, why were Sanders and Merriweather (who I know struggles) let go?! When we didn't have a better option in place? A bad move, at least on Sanders, who while limited, was solid! Our LB's are just bad in coverage.

Though the secondary is worse, and the defensive front 4 is better, it's really just the exact same defense as last year. Gives up tons of yards and points, then make key turnover when they need it. It got us to 14-2 last year. We're 3-1 this year with this win, lets see what happens next week against the jets.
