Dream...Lynx...Basketball

Post#1 » by cpfsf » Sat Oct 1, 2011 6:09 pm

I noticed that nobody on this forum knew how to create a game thread for the WNBA Finals, so I took the liberty of making a thread where we can talk about women and the basketball that they play. As you all know, tickets are hard to come by when the Lynx and the Dream face off because there is no WNBA rivalry quite like the one these two teams share.

notes
*Dream superstar Erika De Souza will not be playing in game one
*Lynx have home court advantage
*More celebrities attend Lynx games than any other WNBA in team in history
*Lynx strengths: passing, jump shots, layups, dribbling, and teamwork
*Dream strengths: passing, jump shots, layups, dunking, and teamwork

Get your seat belts on, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

It's no match for the Lynxes dribbling abilities.

Minnesota is going to win the championship. Not one team in the league would be able to make it interesting against them. I hope Atlanta proves me wrong since they've gone to the finals back 2 back years, but it's going to be a difficult task to accomplish.

Minny should be Finals contenders for years to come. 4 All Stars (all are under the age of 30). One of those All Stars is the 2011 ROY. They also have the rights to Washington's first round pick. Washington by the way finished with the second worst record.

I don't live in Minnesota, so why do I know this?

It's all we have to hang our hopes on in Minnesota. Vikings? Dead! Twins? Dead! Wolves? Dead! Wild? Dead! But now the Dream will be dead.

GO LYNX! :-?
