Rzepczynski will be a 4th-5th starter at best...... so I dont see him changing the landscape of this trade

He is actually more valuable in the bullpin. There he is a top end reliever, while as a starter he is marginal.

I'd say the trade is looking pretty good this morning. A win-now move that worked...that wild card spot was never in doubt. :P

Just looked up Rasmus' stats in Toronto out of curiosity. A .517 OPS? Really?

great maybe next year, you guys could give us jaime garcia for garabge in return if he has a couple of bad months. maybe you'll get lucky again.

Still a good deal from the Jays end. Also Rasmus' play this season doesn't really matter. It'll be interesting how he does after working on his swing in the off season. Just like what Escobar went through.
