Well someone needs to. Apparently I'm nothing without the help of dcash and running and hiding from a challenge. Oh well, I guess it's time for classic Guds to step up to him.

I only played FIFA 12 demo on PS3 man and haven't touched it since then due to work but from what I hear Xbox is better for online play but PS3 plays Blu-Ray and just a better overall graphics engine.

I like the PS 3 though.

I've been reading and noticing that on multi-platform games, the 360 graphics are always better for whatever reason. But when it comes to PS3 exclusives the graphics are top notch and better than anything the 360 can produce. The PS3 has the wider array of exclusives, while Microsoft only seemingly has 2-3 great franchise games. It may sounds like I've already made my mind up, and I may have but I need to know how PSN is. If I can still get a good experience out of it then I'll go PS3, but if it's as slow and buggy as it once was then I guess I'll have to settle on 360.

PS3 doesn't have better graphics. 360 also has faster load times.

Get the PS3 if you'll be using the Blu-Ray and want the exclusives. I still wanna play Uncharted badly.

I've never seen a 360 game look as good as God of War 3. Not sure about load times. And I probably wouldn't use the blu-ray player portion, but the exclusives are amazing.

The PS3 is pretty nice if you're going to play Blu-Rays. Though the online is free so that's another positive on the PS3 over the 360. The PS3 has some pretty dope exclusives like Heavy Rain, Uncharted, God of War and a slew of others so I'm guessing gaming is alright. I use my 360 more for gaming because I'm used to the controller but the PS3 is a good investment for now and the future because of Blu-Ray. The browser **** sucks though.

Hmm, well I know for a fact XBL is infinitely better than PSN. But if the Blu-Ray player is the only true advantage over the 360, then I may as well just get an Xbox. You also mention investment, and that's what I'm heavily looking at. I know the PS3 will be around for the foreseeable future, but I think the 360's lifecycle is just about to come to an end and I'm not trying to be one of those people that looks stupid buying something only to have it's successor be released in a couple months.

I don't think any new 360 consoles will be out until late 2012/early 2013. Maybe even late 2013. I just bought the Gears of War Xbox 360 console this week. My brother bought a new 360 console last summer after the old one I had broke a while back. We would share it but eventually that got annoying and the fact that we never got to play online together bothered factored into my decision into buying the 360. He threw me $60 for Gears so it was worth it for me. I don't regret my decision at the time especially since there are a lot of goods games coming out this fall. With the possibility of no season I could find myself playing the 360 a lot more in my spare time.

If you're really looking for online play with friends go with the console that most of your friends are on.

you can't go wrong with either. i mean, i'd think that the main reason to get a ps3 is the blue-ray, and even if you aren't interested in that now, you might be later.

360's life isn't close to coming to an end. They just came out with the Kinect which will extend it by a lot, and they update and improve the 360's interface 1-2 times each year.

If it's just about online - pay and play better with XBL, or free with PSN. Blu-Ray - PS3, but if you don't care, 360. You said you like PS exclusives, do you like any 360 ones? If not then just get the PS3. Games are the most important thing.

I will if I remember in 2 weeks. Someone bought NFS on my XBL account for 4000 points and it wasn't me. I complained and they closed my account for the next few weeks to investigate what happened and will refund me.

the battlefield 3 beta is going on right now, and i literally cant stop playing. worst time ever to get new internet, i reeaaaaaaaaallly should be studying. id rather play the one map beta with all its glitches than Black Ops, thats how good it is.
