Trade for Dez Bryant?

Post#1 » by SeniorWalker » Thu Oct 6, 2011 8:26 am

Will he come off the bye and start playing like a stud?

Gronkowski and S. Moss for Bryant: Do you do it or is it too much considering he hasn't done anything yet this year?

Note: picked up Ed Dickson off the wire just in case I can do this deal.

Yeah, I'd do that. Gronkowski has been money so far, but TEs are replaceable. I expect Austin to be the more consistent Cowboys WR, but selling high on Gronk like that probably makes some sense based on Bryant's upside.

TE are replaceble but where you gona find another thats consistent threat to score 20+ every single game? As for Dez, to injury prone and Miles Austin will also get more of his targets as well once he returns.

Hasn't done anything this year!!?!?!??!?!?!? Dez just came off a 2 td game in week 4! He's going to be looked at in the red zone even with Austin back (See week 1 when they both got TDs). The only reason I say NO to the trade for you is because S Moss is serviceable and Gronk is a top TE. Considering you're going to use Ed Dickson as a replacement doesn't settle to easily with me. Stick with your guys :D

I don't trust Dez Bryant to stay healthy enough to pay what would be considered a fair asking price for him.

For as much as you'd pay for Bryant, you could probably get someone that's at least 90% of his production but more reliable.......that's the route I'd go.

that's too much to pay. depth is vital in FF and you're paying too much for upside.
