WEFFPIM's Tidbits - Postseason Edition

-Welp, I promised I'd make an actual game thread if there was a 5th game. How foolish of me to make promises I knew I'd have to keep.
-After the equivalent of getting hit in the face with a sledgehammer on back-to-back nights, we're right back where we started (and it's coming home, we've got to give it right back...). Kennedy v. Gallardo. Miller Park. Rally Towels. Beast Mode. Snausage Race. Skin-Eating Virus. Shadows. Tailgating.
-But before we look forward to what could be the worst moment of our baseball fandoms to this point, let's look back. Two grand slams, horrendous pitching, below average defense, and Jerry Mathers as 'The Beaver.' A truly stellar trip to Phoenix.
-HAAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB!!!!
-Miller Park will be rocking for this one, and that's just in Section 117, Row 1, Seat 5. AMIRITE?
-Yovani shut down the DBacks in Game 1 over eight innings, proving once and for all that yes, good pitching is possible.
-Ian Kennedy wasn't half bad either in Game 1, but made the very stupid mistake of trusting his pitching capabilities late in the ball game. Kids, you are never as good as you think you are.
-The Crew went 1-for-13 with RISP while in Phoenix, nearly the same thing that happened to the Diamondbacks while in Milwaukee. Neither one of these two will be fixed on Game 5, however, as there will be no one in scoring position.
-Really for the first time in this series, Ron Roenicke was behind the eight ball in Game 4, leaving Randy Wolf in to face Cowgill in the 3rd. The biggest thing to take from this error is that cows do indeed have gills. Everything you've come to know has been a lie.
-I already did one of this "important events" things involving the number 407, so I'm not doing another one. And none of you commented about them anyways, and since I'm a guy who needs others to love me, you can all just go away...you big meanies...
-Off topic Tidbit: Is it ironic I found out about the death of Steve Jobs on my iPad?
-One factor that will be new to Game 5 as opposed to the other four is that the roof is probably going to be open for this one. Panels, too. Finally! We can give America that much awaited view of the Masterson Packaging Plant.
-Lineup may or may not be altered, would be surprised if Gomez doesn't stay in there. But what I want to know is who writes the lineups out for the Brewers. That handwriting is unreal. Like John Hancock's cousin.
-This will definitely be my final game thread of the season, it has been a pleasure. You can find me on various other boards on this site, or don't be afraid to send me an email if you have any more game thread needs.
-SERIOUS TIDBIT: You played 162 games to get a game like this at home. Don't ****ing blow it now.

Good Luck, Yovani...and Go Brewers.

Jerry Narron is the one who writes the lineups with the fancy writing.

WEFFPIM bringing his A-game today. If we lose it won't be because of him.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope Gomez is in the lineup tomorrow.

I love when you guys post Upton pics. Not only because of her, but every thread I've seen with her ends up with us winning.

At least we are at home. I'm confident we have this.

Really? You show the pic of a player who was a part of another team that choked away a chance at victory...twice? Bad karma, man. :blank:

Reverse psychology on karma, plus she's hot.

Well, to be honest, I jumped off the "Hope Solo is hot" bandwagon a few weeks ago. And this photo doesn't really change my mind. 8-)

If you remember that Seinfeld episode "Man Hands", that's all I can think of when i see that picture. 'Cept it would just be called "Man" if she starred in it.
