There has never been a more obvious pinch-hit choice in the history of playoff baseball than to bring in Gomez or Kotsay there, let Hart have one final at-bat, and then move Nyjer to right with Gomez in center.

And yet, somehow, I'm not surprised Pig got the at-bat.
