i'm thinking your depth chart should look like...

Kevin Johnson | Mo Cheeks
Clyde Drexler | Jeff Hornacek | Dell Curry
James Worthy | Jamal Mashburn | Bruce Bowen
Karl Malone | Larry Johnson | Shareef Abdur Rahim | Truck Robinson
Shaq ONeal | Dikembe Mutombo | Zelmo Beaty

If anything Hornacek would be your sg who could slide over and play 3rd pg. He did play pg for a year for the sixers in the 92-93 season when he started in the backcourt with Hawkins and averaged 6.9 assists.

Truck definitely a power forward. He's like reggie evans.

I'd have Manning backing up Baylor at Sf. He was athletic/mobile enough to play it when he first started and he is MILES ahead of Dennis Scott talent wise.

Nice team.

Bob Cousy - Earl Monroe - Kevin Porter
Joe Dumars - Earl Monroe - Kendall Gill - Bob Dandridge
Dr. Julius Erving - Dolph Schayes - Toni Kukoc - Bob Dandridge - (Joe Dumars too)
Wilt Chamberlain - George Mikan - Paul Silas - Toni Kukoc
Artis Gilmore - Christian Laettner - George Mikan

Mix and match in the frontcourt depending on opposition. Wilt, Mikan, and Artis Gilmore are all DPOY quality defenders, and Paul Silas ain't nothing to f*** with either. Earl Monroe comes off the bench at both guard positions, he is primarily a 2 guard he just happened to be a little shorter. Throw Dandridge in there at the 2 guard or Dumars or even Erving and you'll have a big backcourt either way so it would be more than fine, a nice balance.

Like last time, I think I have the strongest frontcourt, especially defensively. Just so much depth... In a league like this where there are Centers averaging 50 points a game, a defensive frontcourt is definitely necessary, not optional.

Nice team.

Thanks. :D

Yes, I also plan to do that. Also Craig Ehlo will have some time at the 3 spot rotation.

I guess the post I did on my team was enough to cover all those bases, so you can use it as my summary.

My lineup is pretty versatile again. Only two people who can't play multiple positions. Bob Cousy and Artis Gilmore.

wilt chamberlain as a foward? artis and wilt get in each others way on offense since neither is worth a damn more than 5 feet from the basket and on defense how does wilt keep up with guys like karl malone, charles barkley, shawn kemp?

so who makes the "all disrespected team"?

no disrespect to paul arizin, bill sharman and the other guys from pre 60s era, but i'm gonna focus on the guys from '60+

G: Derek Harper, Louie Dampier, Charlie Scott, Jo Jo White, Otis Birdsong, Stephon Marbury
F: Tom Chambers, Cliff Robinson, Tom Heinsoln, Marques Johnson, George McGinnis, Terry Cummings, Vin Baker
C: Ralph Sampson, Brad Daugherty

who else?

If he's playing a quicker forward then he starts center and someone else plays. It's simple dude. There's no law against having multiple starting units!

Any person who plays in a team including Bird, McHale and Parish but still wins Finals MVP deserves a mention. Cedric Maxwell.

Maybe Danny Ainge? Dan Majerle? Steve Smith? Ralph Sampson? Kukoc would have been handy off the bench

haha... i guess i just never thought of wilt at forward thats all.

He once had 8.6 assists per game.

I think that most of the best PFs wouldn't give him any trouble, and he'd give them hell on offense. The combination of him an Artis Gilmore means I have a giant setting picks and a giant posting up. It might get a little cluttered at times, but that's why I have such a deep frontcourt. If I want to, I can put Kukoc in or someone else. Dolph and Kukoc are like the opposites of Wilt and Artis, haha.

So basically, whatever looks like it will cause the most problems for the other team. If it's more of a big body, inside scorer PF Wilt can handle them better than anyone else anyway. He was pretty quick for his size. But if he's getting beat there, then there's other options. But think of the how he'd score on someone like Dirk Nowitzki? Dirk isn't in the league, but you can see how it would get ugly quick. And you can't put the Center on him, because then the 7'2" Artis Gilmore will just do the same thing if you try to deny Wilt the post.

Did you really expect anything different from me?

Coming into this draft, I wanted to emphasize balance and versatility. And I like to think I've accomplished that goal.

Mark Price / Tim Hardaway / Norm Van Lier
Rick Barry / Alvin Robertson / Byron Scott
Scottie Pippen / Glen Rice / Robert Horry
Patrick Ewing / Bob Pettit / Anthony Mason
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / Bob Lanier / Vlade Divac

Looking at my first unit's offense: There's no team that can stop all of the threats. They can score from every area on the floor with ease. Price and Barry are deadly from outside. Kareem is unguardable with him skyhook out to about 15 feet. Ewing is the best jump shooting Center the game has seen. And Pippen fills in the holes.

post defense: I have two of the 10 best post defenders in the draft, enough said.

perimeter defense: I know people are going to focus on Price here, and that's fine, because Pippen can easily cover the other team's best guard, and Barry is no slouch on defense either. Price will easily be hidden.

Rebounding: 4 of my starters have averaged at least 8.7 rebounds a game. That's incredible.

Passing: Scottie has more assists than any other forward and Kareem has more assists than any other Center. Price, Tim, and Van Lier are all capable of giving you 10 a game. No problem

My second and third units are built to have a scorer (Timbug/Scott), a shooter (Rice/Horry), and a defender (Robertson/Horry and Van Lier/Mason).

I like your team a lot. It would be cool if our teams went head to head. They match up really well.
