I agree that Verlander is one of the top 2 pitchers in the game (Him and Kershaw), but using that argument to justify your point is questionable at best.
Verlander has a 5.54 ERA and 1.38 WHIP so far in 13 innings. Roy Halladay has pitched 16 innings with a WHIP of 0.69 and an ERA of 2.25. Halladay has been significantly better in the post-season so far.
