I don't think it will affect. I heard that the arena proposal has nothing to do with the season but it would have been nice to have seen more fan support at games.

It will have an effect on the perception that people have. While there has been a great deal of work distancing the Kings from the arena effort I don't feel everyone has bought into the project as a community thing. Perception is reality, and so a lockout does not help this cause.

This lockout couldn't have come at a worse time for the Kings. If this lockout continues I think their days here are numbered. I am having a hard time finding info on how the stadium funding is or isn't coming along. They have until March to have it fully funded right?

Things seem to be going good tbh. The committee has verbally agreed with AEG into constructing the arena with some private money and there is a some plans to fund the arena based off parking plans and more.
