Shane Battier in Houston?

Post#1 » by MrMorrow » Tue Oct 11, 2011 5:14 pm

Will Shane Battier end up signing here again for the upcoming season? Or will he want too much money? Could we use Shane's skills for the upcoming season?

As PattyCake is a UFA, I'm betting he's going to be one of the most grossly overpaid signings of what is shaping up to be a frantic NFL-ish free agent signing period.

Some team who thinks they're "one glue guy away" from serious contention will give him MLE-type money, if not better.

Cushing one! it was all over his face on both sides and a deeper cut.

Btw, there is no reason why Battier would want to come back. First of all, he was disappointed in being traded. Second, he is 33 yrs old now. He should go to a contending team anyway. You can be sure the Heat or Bulls will come knocking.
