Anyone have any cheap bike recommendations? i've been trying for like a week and a half to find something used but that's not working. just something for paved trails.

epic, i showed that to everyone in my office.

that would be perfect. unfortunately, I'm terrified to commit that much money to this since I just don't know if I'll enjoy it or not. i think i'll head to the budget used place and see what's available.

I've got a similar Trek Hybrid that I've been riding for 20 years and it's the only bike I own. Its a good solid reliable bike; I haven't had to do a damn thing to mine besides lube the chain. I rode a lot as a kid and still enjoy it when I have the time, there are some really nice trails in Wisconsin and its great exercise.

My cardio is feeble at the moment anyways. But if I could stop you, I would give you the ol' accidental American poke in the eye. That stops even the best of ballers. :P

i did pop it up and juggle it a few times when it was rolled to me once. :D

you think that's bad? try reflexively just catching a ball that's coming right at you in a soccer game.

people don't like that. i did it once

I have done that in soccer and volleyball multiple times...

I found it amusing, other people were rather upset. :P

:)

the other things that's funny, is that people that grew up only playing soccer usually can't catch anything very well (not surprisingly) and that's hilarious to me.

Anyone have FRS energy drinks? I had a few and are definitely a drink you need to acquire the taste, but seems somewhat healthy. Are they really healthy for you? And by healthy, I mean not THAT bad for you.
