I got some serious questions for Blazer50, I disagree with his rankings.

Blazer50 wrote:11 CHA - definite improvement with future develepment - still some quesiton marks (PG, SF & Center).

Wes Johnson/Austin Daye is question mark? Both were starters last year... Teague(Coming off a GREAT playoff run)/Kemba a question mark? I'd say those are two of my better positions. I get C, some people think BB will bust, but SF and PG?

16 NEW ORLEANS - given the game in FA rulings and you swing a Spencer Hawes deal. Pick up left over FA on minimum deals and have Capspace. Nothing right about this team in NO, but at least no one goes to the games and maybe they will be in Seattle soon (or a city near you).

Ok, as I mentioned in my writeup, my team would've been very good without FA. At the beginning, I had Paul/Jack/Ariza/Pondexter. I turned that into Wade/Brooks/Afflalo/Pondexter/Greene.

Wade>Paul, pretty clear Wade is top 3, Paul close behind, but not quite as good.
Afflalo>Ariza, Afflalo is the ultimate role player, Ariza is missing some things in the head and isn't as good of a shooter.
Brooks>Jack, Brooks is coming off a bad season, but c'mon. 19/6 the year before as MIP, lost his starting job cus Lowry played out of his mind, but he's a starter in this league.
Pondexter=Pondexter
Plus I added Greene

Don't see how clear upgrades everywhere is "given the game in FA rulings". NTM that I planned to go after these people and I was strong enough to build a team that would attract those FAs.

People's opinions are fine from my end so far. I only disagree with one person's comments, and I think my team could see a wide swath of rankings. That's being proven.

However, I do take a bit of issue with saying I'm not playing the game. I was about as active on AIM as I could be. I think I took over a day to respond to less than a handful of emails, and I pretty heavily discussed various things with a lot of you. I don't take the BlackIce approach of trading a ton because it's just not my thing. I played the game as a favor because you guys lost GMs. If you've got issues with my style when I'm playing with a 60 win team, then I'm sorry. The fact that you have me listed as the 2013 champion makes it even more odd.

On my disagreements: my biggest one is someone arguing the loss of Bogans. Bogans was absolutely atrocious for us. That's inarguable. And for defensive purposes, swapping Bosh/Boozer and Redick/Bogans is a net plus to the defense.

My bench took a hit absolutely, but I've also got 3 40 minute players and Noah, a platoon of SGs, and Jimmy Butler ready to step into the Brewer role soon. With Noah/Asik/Bosh my big man rotation is more crisp and still very workable.

I can't disagree with what you're saying, I also noticed the same with Dallas, bi-polar rankings; likewise I don't trade to trade to trade, that's not my style. But in Dallas I was pretty much hamstrung from the start - I think I only had a handful of offers all game (most from the same 3 ppl - BI, RR9, Blazer50); making trades was next to impossible due to always having to send out more than I could receive; and being unable to sign Free Agents meant I had to ensure I re-signed my own. Makes it quite tricky to make a lot of moves and 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' (English phrase, not sure if you guys get that across the Atlantic).
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

agreed - too few trades is a silly reason to mark down someone IMO.

The game is about doing the best with what you have and if you choose to take a more realistic approach that is your right. Just as it is a GMs right to make a billion trades(except last game where I had a rule in place to curtail that lol) if they are constantly bored with their team.

Mos def not a ranking criteria unless stated in rules to be so BEFORE the beginning of a game(when all rules should be in place already).

I don't care if they mark me down for it or not. I think coming off flippantly and asking why even play the game-- especially when I had come into the game because it was short GMs, is a bit sad. I don't have the time or the persistence to pull off the BI model :p.

Sounds good to me, I will post the tally on Wednesday. Also, for what it's worth...Dallas and New Jersey both made more trades than I did :D

The real question is what percentage of the teams league did BI make more trades than combined?

I will have mine in tonight and since people knocked me down rankings for making little trades and saying i was inactive (not 1 email to me went 24 hours without a responce, hell I don't think any went 12 hours). I will definatly knock teams down that made too many trades.

And also if you want to lower someone in the rankings for "only maing 1 trade", please read the writeup and see that I made 2, so get your facts in line before you speak.

I'm really confused why the reasoning for one my rankings was that I should have traded Jordan. I did trade him, twice actually.

Actually completed my rankings, if you'd look.

that's on me. i was in a poor mood when i wrote up my rankings. i take that back though. you did a good job keeping a 60win team nice and pruned while adding bosh...i'm just bitter you wouldn't trade me deng/noah :P

Thank you, I've got to add them too. I'm not too concerned about others adding them since it was so late, but if they could it would be good.
