hope so but I doubt it.

Players probably will lose.

They need to just grin and bear it and take the damn 50/50 deal and try to "win" the other ****.

Then healthcare bill
The gay marriage
Then the ending the iraq war

Now the lockout?

If you want games without having to rely on the players coming to grips with reality, this is the only way!

You would hope they would and in reality, they would almost have to. Owners cut them off at the pass pretty much.

Another interesting thing in that ESPN article is that the NFL players didn't really "decertify", they "disclaimed". If the union decertifies the season is for sure going bye bye. I was taking into account the legal fight which IMO will take no less than 5-9 months. It's going to take MONTHS before the NLRB even approves a decertification!!! :banghead: I think I'm right, if this is what happens and the owners take it all the way with what appears to be a strong case, we're looking at some of next season gone as well.

When will the NLRP announce the decision?

I have a question? So if they hypothetically rule in favor of the players, do the owners have appeal option. Would it be like football where the original decision in favor of the players was eventually stayed if not overturned.

They can appeal to a Court of Appeals, and I am sure will.

Be nice to at least have the initial decision out of the way just to maybe stir one side or the other to compromise.

Ya, when exactly are the going to make this announcement? Kinda irritating that they come out to say "we're ready" and then not give us anything.

I don't care which side they rule in favor of, I just hope it gets things moving again.

Even if they rule in favor of the Players, the owners can appeal. The players will continue to lose paychecks and may have to cave to stop the bleeding.

Or if they rule against the players and that forces them to give in and bend over.

Either option that ends this thing is my preferred choice at this point.

Don't care who "wins" just get it over with

Agreed.

These cheep @@$ owners that are only in it for the money should sell their teams to other people who actually care about the game, & not only about how much money is going into their pockets.

This is what happens when Stern tries to put an NBA Franchise in just about every State.
Some of there States simply suck. & if they have bad management to go along with a sorry City, then they are in a no win situation.

So the easy thing to do is to screw over the players.

I hope the NLRB rules in favor of the players. Owners like Sarver, Gilbert, Taylor, Allen and Sterling have added little (if any) value to their franchises or the league.
