1. Texans safety Daniel Manning has a crack in his leg. He’ll undergo an MRI on Monday, but doctors have already told him he could be out anywhere from 4-10 weeks depending on the severity of the crack. Manning has helped solidify an improved Houston secondary.

“There’s still a chance he can be back this year,” coach Gary Kubiak said.


Bad luck for Manning. I still think not resigning him was the mistake of the offseason. I'd love to see him at SS right now.

Hope it't not more serious than they think. Get well soon Daniel.

He and Conte would be a good combo for years. I'm pretty sure Angelo won't re-sign Harris so hopefully Wright can improve his tackling form and step it up.

I didn't even know he wasn't a Bear anymore. I'm starting to realize that American football is like that -- you stop paying attention for a season and half the roster changes.

Definitely. Within 3 years I would say a large majority of your roster has turned over as the average player only stays in the league for 3 years.
