idk about that but the call really couldnt have been much more obvious that he missed and changed the course of the game b/c of it
edit: this is probably the article they're referring to: http://content.usatoday.com/communities ... n-kulpa-/1

The Cardinals have had a call like that coming to them since 1985. What goes around, comes around.

I do remember the Royals getting a call that changed that series
the officiating has been poor all around so far - but that's baseball; no crying in baseball

Hey, I do to, sort of
I wouldn't mind Texas winning, though, because of the fan falling and dying.
Hubz was a baseball stud back when, so I have no choice but to watch the Series.

what goes around comes around? the f*ck does that have to do with now, it's not like the rangers were involved in that play.
sadly this should be a great talking point for instant replay (and it's completely ridiculous we dont have it aside from homeruns) but instead we'll ignore it b/c of the score disparity. and the umpire will go unpunished and likely skullf*ck the rangers tonight behind home plate

Stud, why does Washington DH Young and start Napoli at 1B? It seems Young would be a better defensive 1B.
I kind of wish Pujols didn't hit those 2 other HR. The Rangers admitted defeat by then with pitching to him with lefties anyways. And somehow it's going to raise his price tag even though it shouldn't. That being said, he Lidge'd Ogando's ass and that was amazing. And it does add to his legend.
I still can't believe the Rangers didn't even roster Uehera who has been one of the best relievers in the game the past 2 years, just because 11 TBF in the playoffs previously.

It was a tongue-in-cheek comment. But come on now, bad calls are part of the game. Sometimes they go against your team, and sometimes they don't.

young is horrendous defensively pretty much anywhere, and it almost cost us in game 2. i didnt understand why torrealba got the start at catcher yesterday though since napoli's caught all our young pitchers all year. but if torrealbas gonna play he should be dh'ing and young at 1st
and no, uehara doesnt deserve to be anywhere near this playoff roster, he's been a god damn joke his entire tenure in texas, particularly in the playoffs. he can start fresh next year

Koji since 2010:
109 IP
140 SO
14 BB
75 H
2.56 ERA
Napoli really must rub his managers the wrong way, how in the world is the guy who was 2nd in the majors in OPS batting 8th.

i know koji has had great #'s the last couple years but he's also sucked a bag of dicks since august. he has no confidence in himself and no trust by his coach or teammates.

Tip of my hat to Derek Holland for a great game pitched, i was hoping Wash would keep in for the complete game but he didnt want to take any chances in the World Series. Big game tonight, whoever wins is in the driver seat to win the whole thing. Lets go Rangers!

If either Moreland or Murphy don't make horrible defensive plays that inning the Cards only score 1. Pretty important in a game where the aces are going.

Well Moreland just made up for his misplay with a bomb.

Wow the Cards blow it again. How can you stand so many hitters like that? Terrible.
