McBob will sign with Partizan

Former Portland Trail Blazer and Indiana Pacer power forward Josh McRoberts will sign a one-year contract with Serbian club Partizan Belgrade. McRoberts is a free agent in the NBA and it is still unknown will he sign a contract with or without NBA out option

One full year? So does it mean no NBA-out option?

Yeah I really wanted to keep Mcroberts. Cheap young backup big man option.

I think Josh's game will translate well in Europe. They expect their bigs to play everywhere in Serbia, and Josh has proven he is versatile enough to do so.

The only way I'd take McRoberts back is if he signed for 1yr/1m. When it comes to the NBA, he is stuck inbetween positions, kind of like a stretch-3. The problem with that notion is that he is not a good 3, unless good 3's rely on dunks & opportunistic putbacks. Therein lies the problem. It is common knowledge that Indy is lacking a 4, & McRoberts is no better than a third 4 (11th-12th man). I'm pretty sure the new salary-structure will have backups to backups making between 1-3 mill, if not the league is still @#*%$#&.

Although Josh probably deserves 3yr/ 9 m., I'd rather apply that capspace towards a new 4, or Foster, orGeroge Hill, or Hibbert, or eventually Hansbrough. It may seem insignificant, but it adds up pretty damn quick.
