Re: NBA 2K12
Finally started my Nets franchise, roster is still pretty much the default one, only real transaction I have made is to ink Deron to an extension... I'm holding off on inking Brook to see whether or not Dwight will sign an extension with the Magic... :-/

Re: NBA 2K12
Generally when I make trades I try to make them so they're not too one-sided / I take into account the other team's direction (rebuilding, contending, etc.) since the trade logic in the game sucks...
So here are the two trades I made clear cap (crap?):
Nets Outgoing: Travis Outlaw (66), Jordan Farmar (63), Ben Uzoh (57)
Kings Outgoing: John Salmons (72), Hassan Whiteside (49)
Warriors Outgoing: Louis Amundson (61), 2nd Round Pick (2012)
Nets Incoming: John Salmons (72)
Kings Incoming: Travis Outlaw (66), Ben Uzoh (57), 2nd Round Pick (2012)
Warriors Incoming: Jordan Farmar (63), Hassan Whiteside (49)
- Nets: Clear cap by moving Farmar (player option for next year, likely to pick up). Get rid of TROUT.
- Kings: Salmons wanted a trade, they actually pay less money to Outlaw + Uzoh than they do to Salmons + Whiteside (in typical 2k fashion Whiteside's contract was for the incorrect amount, the Kings weren't playing Whiteside either which makes sense because he sucks - but don't tell Queens fans I said that)
- Warriors: Weren't using Amundson, their backup guards were Acie Law and Charlie Bell, so yeah...
---
Nets Outgoing: Sasha Vujacic (67), Johan Petro (52), Mario West (49)
Raptors Outgoing: Sonny Weems (67), Reggie Evans (60)
Nets Incoming: Sonny Weems (67), Reggie Evans (60)
Raptors Incoming: Sasha Vujacic (67), Johan Petro (52), Mario West (49
- Nets: Finished getting rid of crappy contracts and opened up enough cap room so Lopez can be extended and 1 max FA can still be added...
- Raptors: Raptors had 1 million SF but no real backup SG as they were starting Barbosa at the 2 and Derozan at the 3. Petro is also an upgrade to their backup center Alabi (43) or some **** like that, while Reggie Evans was relegated to being a bench warmer and wasn't getting any playing time...
---
Nets Roster:
Deron Williams / Sundiata Gaines / Some D-League Scrub
John Salmons / Anthony Morrow /
Damion James / Sonny Weems / STEPHEN GRAHAM
Kris Humphries / Brandan Wright / Reggie Evans
Brook Lopez / Louis Amundson / Dan Gadzuric
Current record is 24-21 I believe...

Re: NBA 2K12

Re: NBA 2K12
I was about ready to chuck the controller at the wall today.
I was playing 12 minute quarters Wizards vs. Nets (I was the Wizards), after being up 11 in the first half I was down 10 with 2 minutes to go in the fourth.
Andray Blatche was ridiculously on fire this game (he ended the game with 42 points on over 50% shooting), so eventually thanks to Blatche and two timely threes by Ra$hard Lewis I found myself with the ball and down a mere 3 points with 6-7 seconds left, I inbound the ball give it to Rashard and let it rip, MONEY IN THE BANK.
Except for the fact that his toe was barely on the line so I only got two points...
At this point I'm thinking "FML" as I foul Vujabitch and he hits both free throws so I'm down 3 again. With only 2.3 seconds left and no timeouts left I roll the ball inbounds, have Wall run onto it and pull up for a deep three this time it's REAL $$$ IN DA BANK as this three is a three and the game is sent to overtime...
The Nets then proceeded to score the first 15 points of overtime and I lost 117-130. To add insult to injury 10 of those first 15 points came from Brandan **** Wright. Brandan **** WRIGHT. BRANDAN **** WRIGHT. HOW THE ****. !@#$
Complete bull... He's Brandan Wright man. Brandan **** Wright...
