i've always had a thing for green jerseys, they happen to be in the playoffs and i saw a lot of their games this year.

so Seattle it is.

Go Sounders!

Let the smack talk begin. Seattle sucks! You picked the wrong team. Go RSL!!!!

Just kidding welcome to the fanboard discussion. The RSL/Seatle game will be a good one.

This NY/DAllas game is very interesting. Will NY pull it together when it counts. They have diffinitly under achieved this year and many believe their record doesn't reflect how good they are. To bad for Dallas because they pulled a tough opponent the first round.
I don''t think NY has the character to play up when the pressure is on. Dallas wins with 3 counter attacks to score 3-0. They play a defensive game but make it look like an offensive game when one looks at the scoreboard.

Things will be interesting tomorrow night in Colorado. Here is a picture from their stadium today.

As for tonight, I don't see New York winning without Rogers. I would love to see them move on as a New York/L.A series would be fantastic, but it's going to be hard to get past the defense of Dallas.

Fox Soccer's coverage really has been brutal tonight.

0-0 at the half.

New York up 1-0

Hartman is getting no help clearing the ball. He has had a couple of really nice saves, but no help getting the ball away fast.

I don't watch too much soccer, but is Tim Ream thought of as a poor player?

You'll get a lot of mixed reviews about Ream depending on who you ask, but I think he's one of the best defenders in the league...and he has been called up to the national team enough time recently to second that. (but he's always sucked so far for USA)

great win for NY :D 8-)
Don't know what the ref was waiting for to blow that whistle at the end, after having already added 6 minutes, but Henry made them pay for it.

What was with the all the extra time at the end of the game? It was like he was instructed to give Dallas a real chance.

New York vs. L.A is going to be great. The East vs. West conferences sure didn't help on travel though.

So what are the predictions for tonight?

I couldn't watch the game last night... I had other things I had to do. But wow, looks like I really missed on my prediction of 3-0 for Dallas. Was it much of a defensive game for Dallas? oh well, its over.

Colorado v Columbus.

I got to admit I don't like Colorado more and more.... maybe its the rivaly with RSL :) nah doubt it, it's Connor Casey, I hate that dirty player and even though he isn't playing in the game I still want them to lose. Columbus wins 5-0. hmmmm ok, 1-0. Columbus wins. It's hard to say really, I haven't seen these teams play enough to remember them much.

Rapids really putting on the pressure now. They look like the much better team

Up 1-0 as the 1st half is just coming to an end. Should probably be up 2 or so though.

Someone on Dallas (forgot who) banged heads with Marquez and was down for a while, thats why there was 6 mins of stoppage time, but i don't know why there was an extra two.

That guy wrote that Ream is a liability... He is right about the time Ream fckd up pretty bad on a clearance, but i don't remember the other one, and wouldn't call him a liability. I would just say that if he has a real bad game then the Red Bulls are in trouble. I feel like since he is one of the better known defenders in the league, and cause he sucked on USA, everyone hates on him hard after each mistake he makes.

Just turned on the game online after realizing it's not being shown in the US... :nonono:
but was just in time for the goal :)
I expected/expect the Rapids to win. Great time for a goal if youre a Colorado fan

I would like to see him go to the EPL soon though
