Derrick Brown

Post#1 » by Elden Payton » Sat Oct 1, 2011 1:45 pm

Should we sign him back when the CBA is agreed?? He was ****** that we traded him & he wanted to come back....What would it cost to get him back contract wise?? Is he playing overseas during the lockout??

I agree with Fatleaver. If we go out, and just sign a guy who is going to factor little in our overall plans it needs to be a big point guard or extra fouls at center.

But are we sure Cunningham is a better player?? If so agreed but if not why not take a chance on Derrick again??

Cunningham has shown a fair bit more. Brown could jump and dunk, but we didn't see much more

^^^^^
Was that because Larry wouldn't let him?? I've got faith in Derrick & he wanted to be here which to me is very important.

Cunningham's mid-range game is a lot better but Derrick got more post game from what I've seen.

I like Derrick Brown, he's pretty cool. Not very good at basketball though.

I'm sure you guys haven't seen his workout videos but he is certainly looking real good during the off-season.

There are runmours of a Larry Hughes comeback in the works.

Yeah I heard that too, then saw it on realgm. I'm sure he'd be more useful to someone else but maybe he'd wanna play here for some reason.

^^^^^^^^^^

I assumed he was ring chasing but assuming his history with both us & Paul Silas maybe he'd sign for us, contract wise I hope it would only be the vets minimum.
