http://accuscore.com/football-betting-s ... ing-system

Playoff projections nearly halfway through:

NFC:

1. Packers (13.5-2.5)
2. Saints (11.2-4.8)
3. Niners (10.8-5.2)
4. Cowboys (9.3-6.7)
5. Falcons (9.2-6.8)
6. Lions (9.1-6.9)

AFC:

1. Patriots (12.0-4.0)
2. Steelers (11.2-4.8)
3. Chargers (10.1-5.9)
4. Texans (9.6-6.4)
5. Ravens (10.3-5.7)
6. Bills (9.1-6.9)

Games of note this week:

Saints @ Rams - go Rams
Dolphins @ Giants - go Dolphins
Vikings @ Panthers -go Vikings
Redskins @ Bills - go Bills
Lions @ Broncos - go Broncos
Browns @ Niners - go Browns
Cowboys @ Eagles - don't care, I guess go Eagles

Some pretty bad matchups, lots of heavy favorites in the NFC games.

Bernard Berrian released. They got good return on that investment.

Yep, bernard DID NOT add to Minnesota's league leading number of players arrested during his time with the vikings. I think that is a net positive for that franchise (note - I didn't look it up to verify that Berrian did not get arrested, which may not have been a safe assumption on my part).
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

Letting Berrian go was one of, if not the smartest moves the Bears have made in the last 10 years.

Crap games this week. Good time to take a Sunday NFL break and get ready for the rest of the season.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Saw a segment on NFL Live with TO working out today. I wonder if any teams will sign him. They mentioned SF as a possible team, but idk if they want his distractions considering they started the season pretty decently.

The more wins they get the further they are away from an impact player. Luck, Blackmon, etc.

He's old, he wasn't very good last year, he is coming off of a major surgery and he is a serious risk in the locker room.

I'd be surprised if anyone did give him a shot.

I don't know, the way Oakland evaluated Carson Palmer's worth, they might sign T.O. and officially "go all-in this year."

Wow, I still can't believe the draft picks they gave up for that guy. Unbelievable.

Honestly, if I'm Chicago, I'm giving him a look.

The surgery definitely is a huge flag but would you really say TO wasn't very good last year? 72 catches 983 yards and 9 TDs seems pretty good considering he was Cincy's #2 WR

Carimi is back

Chris Harris confirmed he was released this morning. Was inactive in Week 6, started Week 7.

I don't necessarily see what is so horrible about those formulas. They take a larger sample to straighten themselves out.

So when is it going to straighten itself out? Almost 50% of the season is gone and it's supposed to be a week-by-week power ranking.

The formula still can't determine it's dumb to have the Saints as the 9th best team in the league?

I'd agree it wouldn't be horrible if it ever came even remotely close to projecting an accurate list.
