Terrence Jones? :o

Wow. Ummm...there's a few prospects I can immediately think of that I'd take to fill out the lottery before I even think about TJ. Adonis Thomas and Kabongo are players I'd take ahead of Jones unless he somehow steps it up like crazy this year.

He will. Last year he played good team ball like he was asked to. Expect him to break out dramatically this year. I expect him to vie for player of the year honors.

Terrance Jones was overrated last year and it showed as his stock continuously dropped from a early pick to a later pick. I think some mocks had him going as late as 16 or 17 and that was perceived as a weak draft. No way he makes it into the lottery this year.

To go along with Rapsfan07 list, I would take Adonis Thomas, Kabongo, Kendall Marshall, Khris Middleton, Terrance Ross, Josiah Turner, John Henson ,Mason Plumlee all over T Jones.

I just know the Terrence Jones UK fans are seeing is a new one. He's playing with a young Jamal Mashburn skill and power. None of those players can touch him. Heck I have Anthony Davis as the number 1 overall pick and Jones ate Davis's lunch, then offered to pay for Davis's lunch then stole back the money and pissed on him. I'm telling ya, the guy has brought it.

Terrence averaged 15 and 8 last year as a freshman. How was he overrated? He might not make it back into the lottery. I believe he will, but either way all of the guys you mentioned will not get drafted ahead of him. Versitile bigs have value.

Well I haven't seen the "new" T Jones, but last year was more predicated on Callipari's offense and Brandon Knight IMO. He made plays as well, but he wasn't always taking over. He had bad body language, didn't stay mentally focused all the time, can't really take a guy off the dribble and shoot, isn't all that fluid and explosive and was ultimately a tweener.

If you guys think he will be better than Kabongo, Marshal, Middleton, Ross, and Turner, then the new T Jones better be a mismatch PF and not just a tweener. I think Adonis Thomas will stay at Memphis a bit longer anyway, while Henson and Plumlee both are athletic and have ideal height for the 4, while T Jones is kind of undersized besides having a long wingspan and not as explosive nor fluid.

when has 6'9" 1/4 without shoes been considered short for PF? He's not a pogo stick but he averaged 2 blocks a game and averaged 9 boards a game. He's very athletic. Hensons not very athletic or coordinated, he's just long. All plumlee can do is jump

Jones is an unorthodox player who's game is underrated, imo - and he was not helped by having a poor distributing PG in Brandon Knight - who was basically a shooting guard playing the point last season. And Jones is more fluid than the overrated and under-developed Plumlee.

I meant it as Knight had a lesser offensive role early in the season, but as it went on, Callipari lessen Jones role and dispersed it to others. Mainly Knight. Something like spreading the wealth. Plumlee is underdeveloped, but he still fluid in his movements than Jones, but I will hold off on that till I see the "new" T Jones.

Look at Plumlee with the ball in his hands, and you can't tell me that he is at all fluid in his movements. Comparatively, he makes the old T Jones look like Michael Jordan. Defensively, Plumlee can shine, but he needs to get a helluvalot stronger. Henson may not be any stronger, but Henson's such a great athlete that he can overcome that.

Henson is a beast of an athlete.

Biggest sleeper in next years draft imo.

You dont even have to look at plumlee when has the ball. He's still very mechanical.

As for t.jones, he might have improved physically enough to dominate college bigs, but i think his bball IQ will be a problem for him at the next level as will his penchant to wanna show off his "guard" skills. He's not as skilled as he thinks he is and he disappears when he's not getting his shots and touches, which is why i think he's a future al harrington.

Does anyone think Quincy Miller is like Houston TMac without the playmaking. He has great handle, a pretty good jumper, and is a pretty good slasher

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Would anybody argue that Anthony Davis is now the consensus #1 pick over Drummond? I still would take Drummond simply because of the drought at the 5, but I think Davis is really the most talented and complete prospect. A team already set at PF would do otherwise, but a team like Detroit or Toronto would probably serve better taking Davis.

Yup. I don't wanna call it too early since he hasn't played a single college game but that guy looks like a sure-fire star to me.

i haven't seen much of Davis in terms of C but IMO Drummond is the real prize here. He's got such a versatile game. Can shoot it from midrange, dunks everything, a very good athlete, a NBA ready body/size and a very underrated passer. If he's still on the board, T.O must take him and move one of Amir, Bargs or Ed to make room (hopefully Bargs). Drummond can then alternate between PF/C but I see him being most effective at PF.

What's the best Anthony Davis becomes?Garnett?

Drummond? Bigger, stronger and defense playing Amare?

Not saying either would reach those ceilings but you definitely take the bigger and defense playing Amare, not to mention he can play either PF or Center, I doubt Anthony could play Center until he adds like 30 pounds, he'll need to bulk up regardless.I mean ffs he weighs 210 at 6'10-6'11

But then again, you got potentially another K.G coming into the league. That's elite level defense, with great passing for a big, and dominate rebounding to go with possibly 20 ppg scoring.

If Davis and Drummond are the top two talents on the board when raps aren't going to worry about position but draft bpa.

With Val taking the 5 spot either Davis or Drummond would be PF majority of time.
