As a Giants fan, I know all too well how that feels, so I can't help but feel bad for the Rangers and their fans. Two WS losses in a row, especially having lost this one the way that they did, must be like 30 hard kick to the balls.

Tremendous last month and a half and WS win for the Cards though.

I felt sick after the game 2 loss and thought the series was done after that but the Rangers folded like no other team in a series of this magnitude.

Congrats to the Cards on an amazing run. They just wouldn't go away.

The one detraction from the series as a whole was just how terrible the umpiring was all throughout.

this year again showed how much of a as beane calls it a 'crapshoot' the POs are, you need so much luck to win (rain delay allowing cards to start carpenter, joe mauer "foul hit" against the yanks 2 yrs ago, etc)...the other thing this reaffirms to me is that you need low paid scrappy players on your starting 9, not well paid players at each position (allen craig this year? cody ross last year? )...and it also showed the umps need get better, but we already knew that

I'm glad Texas lost because I think Ron Washington acts like a douchebag during games. I'm happy for Pujols, Carpenter, and Berkman though. Very impressive what they did, especially without Wainwright and Holiday playing injured the entire playoffs.

Seriously? In a series with Tony La Russa, the other guy is the douchebag?

Absolutely. I have no problem with a manager being enthusiastic and everything, but the guy is so over the top. He just rubs me the wrong way.

Time will tell.....but very painful nonetheless

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
