Around the NFL

Post#1 » by heir_jordan22 » Wed Oct 12, 2011 6:24 pm

Since this board is virtually dead, and the Bears did a magnificent job of pissin me off on Monday, I think we should have a thread to discuss things going on around the NFL.

Broncos: Orton is an underrated quarterback IMO, but that team is not set up to win any time soon. They should play Tebow and see what they have. In the mean time they should trade Orton to the Dolphins, who they play after their bye week, before the trade deadline.

Raiders: Apparently they had 10 men on the field for the final play against the Texans when Huff picked off Shaub in in the end zone. 10th man -- Al Davis???

49ers: Did ANYONE think they would do ANYTHING? I thought they were a lock to get Luck in the draft.

Harbaugh is doing a great job with Alex Smith. Looks like he was the exact coach they needed at the time, Jed York made a good decision.

I think Fox is giving in to public pressure to start Tebow. Quinn is the better quarterback. Tebow is just hasn't shown many good qb skills.

Its a shame this board is so dead, and there is no moderator to inject life into it.

^^^^^^^^Well, I'm gonna be here more to support this board. It was like this at times last season. Maybe REALGM will allow Bears Fans to vote in an additional (or replacement) Mod to concentrate their energy here.

Yes. Detroit loses to San Francisco. Afterwards, Swartz goes after Harbaugh because he was celebrating his team's victory.

On another note, we have a Sunday night game versus a divisional rival. Yet, I see no hint of a game thread. It's getting REAL BAD in this forum. :nonono:

Today I am a Panther, Bronco, Dolphin, & Ram fan. If these teams win today, it puts losses on two divisional foes & also helps us with our playoff chances.

+1
Agreed

And I think I'll be a Cowboys fan today, because if they beat the Eagles I think everyone in that locker room will give up on the season and we will crush them next week.

Agreed. I never root for the Cowboys, but a win today and the Philly lockeroom imploads. All that "Dream Team" talk is going to haunt them. Lol. I had the Philly game as a loss initially, but I feel good about it now. Especially with the bye week to prepare.

Miami, Denver, & Carolina all let me down today. I tried to be a fan of theirs, but damn, they sure make it hard  . The Rams are the only ones to come through for me today. I guess I will now join the Cowboy bandwagon with Heir & Emperor.....for tonight only (unless we need them to beat someone else later this season  ).
