Aaron Rodgers Trade Value?

Post#1 » by Onlykiwirapsfan » Mon Oct 31, 2011 6:11 pm

So i have both Rodgers and Big Ben in a 10 team, half PPR league. Noone is biting on Big Ben, so it seems like my only choice to make the most of my quarterback situation is to trade Rodgers. I'm pretty set at reciever with Dez, DBo, Julio Jones and Pierre Garcon, but my RB's are terrible (CJ0k, Hillis, McGahee, Jacobs). I also have good TE depth with Finley and Fred Davis.

Just wondering what kind of value I should be looking for when trading rodgers? I feel like I need to make a trade with one of my QBs, and unfortunately it looks like it will have to be Rodgers. Is 1 for 1 for an RB stud like McCoy, Forte, F Jackson, AP fair?

Thanks in advance

edit: Its a 3WR, 2RB, 1 w/r league if that matters

I'd try to find a good trade partner that meets all of this criteria: Needs a QB big time, Has Top Tier WR and or RB with a bad record who is looking to shake things up. You should be able to package AR with one of your lesser RB and or WR and get back a #1 RB and or WR since you WR's are nice but a very inconsistant bunch at that.

Start asking high and go lower until you work something out since it really hurts having that much points getting scored on your bench.

Hmm, nooone really has terrible QB's. My best options are a guy with just Rivers, a guy with just Romo, a guy with Stafford and Fitzpatrick, a guy with just Schaub, and a guy with only Tebow (who has already declined my Big Ben for Bradshaw trade at least until Tebow stops starting, which could be soon)

I think trading him is a solid idea. If they keep winning, and I see no reason why they wont odds are he wont be playing much the last few games....which is killer if you are in the playoffs then

Go back to the Tebow owner ASAP with Rodgers. Also, be wary of Bradshaw -- the Giants' schedule gets brutal from this point forward.

Odds are someone in your league will give you value for chris johnson too...some people will trade for him in hopes he blows up soon, although it is unlikely

Cheers for all the advice guys

Let me know what kind of value you get Pharmcat.

I have to admit, i'm finding it tough to pull the trigger. I kinda wanna wait and see if any of my RB's remember how to play football. Then again I dont want to wait too long

I really dont see your backs coming around.....I have Johnson so I feel your pain..I plan on benching him this week for the 1st time, if he blows up I will lose it
