I would be fine with Greg Walker. As long as we have someone who does the job and will be a fixture on the team for several years.

I would like Rudy Jaramillo to become a coach.I have full confidence that he will be an excellent coach for the team.

What about Dave Magaden as hitting coach ? Boston will have a new GM and Manager, never know if new Manager will keep any of the leftover Boston coaches. Magaden has one yr left on contract with Red Sox.

I like it. I hope he stays around so we can have some consistency.

Don't get it, if Jason is such a big priority why not just go back to TP. Also Braves are too big on the ole good boy system, just hire anyone with Georgia, Metro Atlanta, or Braves ties. They care so much about tradition but still can't sell tickets for anything.

I think TP wants the least amount of work load as possible. Over the years he's been quoted to saying that he has strongly thought about giving up the game so he can spend more time with his family, he hates all the traveling, and I doubt he's up to being the hitting coach. I think he has the job on the team that he's content with.

I hear the total opposite that he is a possibility for the Cards managerial spot.

^^^Would not surprise me at all if he winds up in St. Louis. Cardinal ties are strong and mean a lot to that organization. They are a good group and Terry would do well in St. Louis.

Return to Atlanta Braves
