Disturbing note from Jordan Pope, who writes: “I work for a Nike team dealer in Washington and we received our sideline exclusives for Fall 2012 with what appears to be a notable change to the Green Bay Packers pants for next year. The green-white-green striping down the pant leg does not start at the top of the pant but rather farther down, at roughly the same spot as the scarlet stripe in Ohio State’s Pro Combat uniforms.” Ugh — I reeeealllly hope that’s not a sign of things to come. …

Those tO$U jerseys are pretty sweet. I dont' think we really need to change our uniforms though.

Green bay is one of the few teams who will probably never change their jerseys. I doubt this is a legit change

Ron Wolf tossed around the idea of going to Navy Blue jerseys, and then thought about changing the pants and helmets to gold instead of yellow, but in the end he just switched from 5 stripes to 3 on the jersey. Anything different is cool imo.

I'm the total opposite. I can't stand the motion W, looks so f-ing cartoony. Waunakee uses it for all of the youth sports logos. Thank god we used Florida State's spears for football, which is actually one of the coolest logos on a college football helmet.

All of the Wisconsin gear I own, yes I own some Wisconsin gear , is stuff without the motion W.

Some people seem to think (not necessarily in this thread) that with Nike taking over the NFL uniforms next year that every team is going to be wearing pro combat type uniforms. It's not like it is in college sports. Nike can call a lot of the shots with a college team because the team wants and needs the money and exposure. In the NFL I don't think there's going to be any question of who is working for whom.

I always wished we switched from yellow to gold. This would be cool IMO. Those yellow pants look awful especially when matched with the white road unis
