Agreed. I watched kos and mert during the chelsea game, they're really similar in the way they play, intercepting and anticipating their opponents moves. Koscielny in particular will be a superb pairing with TV I reckon because of kos' anticipation and TV's aggression.

Ramsey looking better every game now. Really becoming the hub of our offense, and directing play from midfield. Can't wait for Wilshere to come back, watching them together is going to be a lot of fun.
Song, Jack and Aaron should be awesome, but i'm still hoping Wenger blows my mind and makes it M'Vila, Jack and Aaron. And yes, i know how you feel about Francis Coq ;)

I like Coquelin, but I'd still take M'Vila in a heartbeat. With Song there, and Coquelin/Frimpong behind him, I think creative player and striker are the priorities for transfers, though.

Agreed. wearethenorthbank.com linked us with Stefan Jovetic, haven't seen much of him. We've been linked with Estaban Granero as well, would only make sense if Wenger moves him to wide forward though imo.

Walcott is one of my favorite players in the Fifa games and I caught the first half of the Chelsea Arsenal game and he made two brilliant passes. Also saw the goal he made later. My question for you Arsenal fans is what's stopping him from becoming a World Class player and where does he stand right now compared to other wingers. Also does he have flashes of brilliance like that often or is he just another fast player who is missing the necessary skills?

This was probably his best game ever. "Just another fast player without the necessary skills" isn't quite right, he can be lethal in front of goal. He'd probably be better off playing for a different side, teams tend to play defensively against arsenal and for another team he could be more effective.

Hes too inconsistent, drifts in and out of most games then occasionally dominates. You get the feeling he's just not aggressive enough, and his technical ability let's him down too often.

He's still a good player, just not world class. He's still young though.

Real Madrid expected to lead the queue for Hazard (and favorites) - from the PL, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool also likely to bid.

Nice to cruise to a victory - it's been a while.
I can't help think though that Wenger got the team wrong. Theo and Gerv were ineffective without space, they should have been rested. Our midfield dominated; i feel if we'd rested one or two we'd have still dominated.

Our depth is quickly becoming a real strength. 3 legit CB's, 4 legit full backs, 4 legit mids when jack returns. Just need to tweak the forward line in january

Impressive pick-up, I haven't seen Shea (outside of Youtube vids), but I've heard lots of excellent things about his potential

Nice to here WIlshere promising to stay at Arsenal forever. Not sure you can take it to the bank exactly, but it's good to hear his love for the club. Certainly better than some of the guys we've had at the club lately!

You get the feeling Sagna could play for another four years - Szcz/Sagna/TV/Kos/Gibbs/Song/Jack/Aaron could do some great things in that time.

We've got a good group going forward. If we can move a few of the older players out (Rosicky, Squillaci, and maybe Arshavin) and add some talent, and creativity, we look set to compete for a while. Walcott, and Gervinho are both young, and behind them is Ryo and Chamberlain, who both have huge talent. Striker is our obvious weak point, behind RvP we have very little.

Striker isn't as weak as it seems, although it certainly is a weak point in the near future. We have Joel Campbell and Benik Afobe coming up. Afobe is reported to be one of the most talented players to come out of the Arsenal Academy.

I like Afobe a lot, and Campbell is interesting as well. Afobe would have been with the first team this year had it not been for the injury that still has him out, and Campbell will be here next year when he qualifies for his work permit. We also have some strong prospects coming in behind them in Zak Ansah, Nigel Nieta, and Philip Roberts.

I was referring to the near future though, and I have little confidence in Chamakh or Park to perform if needed. Walcott and Gervinho are probably better options, and Gervinho seems a poor finisher, and Walcott an inconsistent one. We need to offload Chamakh, imo, and try and bring in a better secondary striker to spell RvP until Afobe and Campbell are ready to contribute to the first team.
