I won't waiver.... Give me paul anyday of the week. Nash's minutes are going to start declining over the next few years. I'd rather have Paul for 38 minutes per than douglas playing 25 minutes and failing miserably in keeping that big azz baby Howard happy.

It's about a mind set to me.... Paul and Anthony are guys that get into a zone and are unstoppable... to me they have more drive and heart than Stat and Howard. Howard cries like a baby if he doesn't get his way... he'll shred the coach, his teammates whoever. Stat is a guy that does not like to get dirty.... especially on defense. The other two are gym rats to the fullest extent of the word... the other two are bodybuilders.

How about with replace STAT with Griffin and tell Howard to fly a kite.. they can go bodybuild and where spandex bodysuits somewhere else. And we'll roll with GRiffin/Melo/Cp3.

But he was never taught how to play defense remember?

Funny how these youngins forget our 90s teams and why they were always a force. We played defense and though the rules of the game have changed the principles haven't.

Yeah, the Amar'e hate is disappointing. He saved us from looking like complete a$$hats last summer, when it was looking like we were going to be shut out in free agency.

Yeah, people can say he did it for the hefty contract, blah, blah. But even so, it takes some major cajones to come into the biggest sport market, with the most rabid fans and media, and declare that he was going to turn that team around. It could've been arrogance or extreme over-confidence (we all know STAT loves to run his mouth), but whatever it was, it was exactly what we needed from a superstar to be willing to come to NY (something Lebron and Bosh apparently didn't have).

People said he'd struggle mightily without Nash, and he proved them wrong while putting us on his back. Remember that streak of 9 straight games with 30+ games, in which we won nearly all of them? (I'm still waiting on a youtube mix for that btw)

He made us relevant again early last season, something us Knicks fans hadn't felt in too long. Because of all that, he made a life-long fan out of me.

Sick mix btw.

i completely argee. those games against jj hickson and tyler hansbough had me bring amare down a notch but i'm still glad he came to ny
