If You Could: Bosh for Noah?

Get personal feelings out of the way. If the Bulls offered Noah & Korver for Bosh & Bibby or Pittman, would you do it? Why or why not?

Bingo. No need to trade Bosh for slightly above average.

If there's one thing I agree with in the NBA, its that 9 times out of 10, you take talent over fit.

That said, I don't even know that Noah is the perfect fit. To be honest, he just duplicates a lot of what Haslem already gives us in a slightly bigger body. Better passing, but it won't be utilized with the ball in either Wade or LeBron's hands.

For all the criticisms of Bosh, he singlehandedly won games for us last year, and was the difference in the Miami-Chicago series.

To be honest, I'd be more likely to do LeBron for Dwight than Bosh for Noah, and I still don't know that I'd make that trade simply because these guys started to click last year in the postseason. Chemistry didn't ruin us in the Finals, LeBron getting gunshy and cold ruined us, but we looked like a team throughout the playoffs, and I want to see if that momentum carries into the next regular season. Its going to suck if we end up with only 50 games and these guys finally get that 72 pace going, but that's life.

^Yea I agree, but the Dwight for LeBron would be slightly different, we'd basically be getting equal talent and much better fit while with Noah we lose talent and gain fit and like you said I always thought of Noah as a bigger Haslem which is good but not good enough to offset the top 10 scoring Bosh provides. With Dwight, the roles are more defined and probably be able to click a little sooner than this team did, but hey LeBron is the best in the league and more chemistry and health only helps a potential dynasty.

I'll be the first to say I would do it. Haslem could take Bosh's pf minutes + decent pfs come a dime a dozen. A legit young center that will rebound, hustle, and play defense while still being able to give you 10-15 a night doesn't. We got beat by Dallas because Chandler killed us inside (especially with his offensive rebounds). We had no answer for his size or hustle. Noah would/could have neutralized him. Between Wade, LeBron, and our role players- we have enough offense.

Nothing against Bosh but LeBron's feelings towards Noah aside...I would do it.

Samuel Dalembert can do the same thing (even score occasionally) but wouldn't cost us Bosh. This is an awful deal for us as long as we have the means to supplement our talent with role players.

On the flip side, I don't think the Bulls would do this trade either. Imagine a Bosh/Boozer frontline (Assuming the Bulls decide to play their 2 most talented bigs together). That's actually worse defensively than the Bosh/Bargnani frontline that the Raptors had.

Yeah its not a great deal for Chicago either, but to be honest I don't know that the Noah/Boozer frontline is the answer for them.

Now if they could get a serviceable guy to pair with Asik, who isn't half bad himself, and move Boozer for anything more than garbage, then I could definitely see them doing Noah for Bosh.

EDIT: Damn you always ninja delete your posts, but here's my reply for now

i disagree, chandler wasn't the reason we lost, lebron getting passive and us being totally shut down by the zone was partly due to joels offensive ineptness which dally could easily solve, and i think Bosh gives us that edge over chicago, he destroyed boozer is that series and i think he could be the difference between our teams for any upcoming playoff matchups

Bosh is a better talent and considered a superstar even though he doesn't have to carry the load anymore. Noah even though being a good center doesn't even command double teams like Bosh.

I would not do it even if CHI threw in CJ Watson, & gave us a 1st round pick.

I would consider it, but eventually turn it down.

Why? Cause i am almost positive that we will fill in our starting C/PG spots threw amnesty, & free agency.

Never. Only way I get rid of Bosh is through amnesty. And only if amnestying him will land us Howard. Otherwise, Bosh stays a Heater and we fill in our C with someone who can rebound. PEACE.

HELL NO would I do it you don't trade a Top 10 PF for a injury prone center like Noah who can't make free throws if we get rid of Bosh I want a center like Shaq not one like Noah who loses his temper and cool.

Chris Bosh won us that Chicago series and if LeBron had just played like LeBron against Dallas we would have probably won we just need a big body that can get rebounds and defend. I would much rather if the amensty clause happen go get Brendan Haywood or try and get Sammy D they won't cost us Chris Bosh and having a center that can rebound and defend pair up with Bosh will give us an amazing frontline with Udonis coming off the bench to be our spark plug.

Wow honestly... If you're going to try and discuss basketball at least know what you're talking about. You can't compare Bosh to decent pf's when he's one of the best pf's in the game. He won us games in the playoffs you think trading Noah for Bosh would have won us the Mavs series? Bosh is a valuable piece you don't trade a star for a above average center, when you can use the mle on a serviceable center like Dalembert. Even though Bosh stock dropped drastically doesn't change he was considered a superstar earlier and that this was his first year here.

Also the fact that you think Noah would bring us 15 rebounds a game or close to that is funny, we have elite players which also happen to be one of the best rebounders at their positions. Couple that with our defensive schemes that put the big men in bad defensive rebounding position there's no way Noah would come close 13-15rpg. That also explains Bosh dip in rebounds and don't fool yourself same **** would happen to Noah.

Finally having Lebron + Wade + our roleplayers won't be enough offense, even with Bosh at times we had tough times scoring when we were playing good teams. Your solution is to give us a center with no offense (exaggerating) and remove the third guy that makes up for a lot of our offense?, however if we're going to be playing Wizard 16 times in the playoffs I'm all for it

Hey gents, long time heat fan here from when wade was drafted and i liked rafer alston a lot. I would trade Bosh but no just for Noah, it'd have to include one of Gibson or korver

I think that part was points, not rebounds...
