I don't think he was to much worried about it. He will make the Hawks roster regardless and he probably knows it already. I want to know how much he weighs now. His stint in Italy was to probably gain some more weight and get as many games as possible against some pro experienced bigs.

Last I checked on his team's official site they had him listed at 104kgs or 229lbs once you do the conversion.

With the prolonged lockout and the limits on US players that each team can have, it doesn't surprise me that a raw rookie is getting replaced by a mediocre vet. Experience is valuable especially on a rental player. The market is probably flooded with people who need to eat.
