Davis or Arenas

Post#1 » by JaVier Mastro » Sun Nov 6, 2011 5:45 pm

Two of the top guards that could be set free with the new CBA. Davis and Arenas are oth good players still but would would fit best for the Lakers and why.

Davis would with LA better since he is more of a passer than Arenas and he always wanted to play in LA. Arenas would be nice too but I'm not so sure how he would feel being 4th or 5th scoring option.

Gilbert is an LA guy too. But I think he's jumped the shark....

Which ever one can stay healthy / stay in shape, both are a long shot.. seriously i would rather go with bd if we cant find someone suitable for the pg spot only because of how baron has shown in the pass to step up big in big games

while i agree with this, we don't have much longer to contend. i'd rather get a veteran pg who's better than all of our options at the current position and contend now than plug in a piece that isn't as beneficial and meant to be for the long term.

and as lapwnd alluded to, we aren't going to find a better pg than baron or gilbert. and gilbert i do not want.

The MLE will be gone if we play anytime soon. Tax teams are going to get screwed. But hey if guys want to miss the season already maybe the vets min will look nice.
