DeAndre Jordan?

Post#1 » by MrMorrow » Tue Nov 8, 2011 2:59 am

Should we make a move to acquire Big Man DeAndre Jordan (of the Clippers) in free agency? been in the League about 3 years and averaged 7 points and 7 boards last season. Or will he be too costly for us?

DeAndre Jordan is a RFA. The Clippers are very high on him and likely to match any offers. Plus Jordan will make more than the MLE. He has beat out former all-star Chris Kaman for the starting center job. Jordan is a nice young player, but not a realistic target for the Blazers.

Chris Kaman may be available, through a trade.

Yeah I don't see Jordan as an affordable for the Blazers, not to mention if he was I'd be pretty hesitant giving the guy a long deal after one decent contract year.

The clippersare not kown for hanging on to their talented young players though so if we have a shot at him i say take it. Hed definitely be way more valuable than jamal crawford

Sign and trade for Oden? I'd do it.

Long time Clippers/Blazers fan here, I think this trade would be for both teams

Doesn't this guy make Chris Dudley look like a good free throw shooter?
