:lol: our soccer team lost to Oman. We suck at everything

It was a fairly meaningless game. More importantly, soccer is getting more popular here.
1. Soccer becomes more popular
2. Playing soccer in high school becomes socially acceptable
3. A world class athlete turns down aussie rules for soccer, becomes striker for Man U
4. Everyone wants to be a soccer star
5. Socceroos become a top team
6. ????
7. Profit!

It will take ten years, but it's going to happen.

Why does there have to be 4 threads for cricket and like 6 threads for racing? just make a Cricket thread or a Racing thread?

So the Gold Coast is hosting the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Huzzah

How uninteresting. Maybe I'll go up there and work for some team for free as their physio. Probably I will volunteer for women's hockey or netball. That will make it more interesting.

This forum has less then 50 threads. Most have hundreds....

The ones people are not interested in will fall to the second page, we needed a good base to start off with though to make the forum look active.

4 cricket threads will also separate the discussions, as all are very different. Just contribute in the threads that interest you and ignore the rest.

Personally reckon the commonwealth games stink but good they'll be back in Aus so soon. Everyone needs an excuse for a goldy trip also!
