This Carimi injury is lingering much longer than I thought it would.

Turning into a lost season.

I'm guessing he's missing 2 more games and then eases back in over the final 6 before starting in the playoffs. With Lance Louis coming on and Garza way out performing Kruetz (remember him?) and Willimas pulling - our right side running game is going to be solid when the weather gets cold and the turf gets bad.

I still have visions of Louis not only blocking Trent Cole on his @ss but then running over to completely pancake him when he clearly didn't have to. Showed a mean streak there. Is this the real Lance Louis? He was the weakest link not too long ago....

I'm not sure if Carimi will come back this year, or even given a chance to start if he is healthy, but I think once he comes back we should put him in at guard. Louis is a better pass protector, and Carimi's greatest strength is his run blocking. I think it only natural that they switch.

GAME: I think we got this. 'Nuff said.

Not a very good half on offense, but I'll take 20 points at halftime any day.

Not to read too much into one game, but I think that we're going to make the playoffs.

6-3 with a remaining schedule of San Diego, Oakland, Kansas City, Denver, Seattle, Green Bay, and Minnesota.

Last year we looked better after the Bye week, and I thought that the Bye week would matter more this year with a shortened training camp. It's only been 2 games, but we've looked very good.

And keep in mind that the 3 teams that we've lost to have a combined 5 losses(6 after this game is over.)

Chris Williams hasn't played in the 2nd half. Anyone hear why?

Icness posted this on the Lions board on Thursday. I gotta give it to him. That was a great prediction.
