RESTRICTED FREE AGENTS SIGNING - 48 HOUR MATCH PERIOD HAS EXPIRED

The Memphis Grizzlies have acquired RFA SF/SG Corey Maggette with a Maximum available MLE deal starting at $ 5M. Maggette will be the starting SF on an outstanding young Team. Maggette would share the wing duties with Jalen Rose making this one of the strongest young rotations in the league on both ends of the floor. With the emergence of Mike Dunleavy, Boris Diaw, Jim Jackson and Jerome Williams, Memphis’ future is bright.

Maggette will receive $5M / $5.4M / $5.832M / $6.298M / $6.802 and $ 7.347M with an ETO available to him in 2006. The Grizzlies would be please to add this exciting young prospect to there franchise.

The Sacramento Kings have signed PF/ Backup Center Kenny Thomas to a Full Max MLE exception offer that would pay Thomas $5M / $5.4M / $5.832M / $6.298M / $6.802 and $ 7.347M with an ETO available to him in 2006.

Thomas would be an integral part of the Kings game plans and with an aging Vlade Divac and Chris Webber, the Kings are will relying on Kenny to share the time in both post postitions. The Kings offense is built around a passing – low post center and - though undersized - Thomas has demonstrated outstanding offensive skills and brings the defense and rebounding to be an important part of their rotation.

For Reggie Evans there had not been a initial posting of an accepted offer and with the qualifying offer being over a mil would he sign a 2 yr min deal he does not lose his rfa status this yr
