I think there's an argument. I think Williams has go to scorer potential at the 4 and that fits better with most upper echelon centers in the league. You can sacrifice some of Love's rebounding if a Bynum or Bogut is coming back and Williams probably has a higher defensive ceiling than Love.


I've seen too many Wolves draft picks come and go in the past few years to know that you can't bank on a draft pick's potential over an established player. I'm sure similar arguments were made before Wes, Flynn, Brewer, Foye, etc. ever played a game. For all we know, Williams will prove to be a bust tweener. He might be Al Harrington level of player.
