Kimbrel Unanimous NL ROY

Post#1 » by bstrassburg » Mon Nov 14, 2011 7:25 pm

Craig Kimbrel (not surprisingly) won the National League Rookie of the Year getting all 32 first-place votes. Freddie Freeman finished in second place getting 21 second place and 7 third place votes. Brandon Beachy did not receive any votes, which shows that most voters didn't watch Beachy pitch this season.

Unfortunately that's true. Beachy is top 5 in ROY category IMO.

Congrats to all 3, Kimbrel, Freeman and Beachy ! All had a great rookie season.

Congrats to Craig Kimbrel.

We have some young building blocks on our team that I absolutely love. I hope all three stay with us for many years and continue to grow as players.

Congrats to Kimbrel, although Beachy did deserve some votes
