Don't be surprised if rookie TJ Yates winds up starting. He's been the better player in practice.

This

Worst part is that we can't do anything about it, no way Rex benches Sanchez for the next 2 years now. But, he's been surprisingly awesome in the play-offs, so hopefully we get there again and see what happens.

Schefter saying Schaub is out of the season. Huge blow for the Texans.

If the Falcons keep their focus and Mularkey remembers to use Michael Turner then the division is far from over. It should come down to whoever wins that Dec. 26 game. Only problem is if the Saints only lose to the Falcons the tiebreaker will favor them I believe, but that's a long time off...

I can tell you he is not...yet. I even know who Schefter talked to and what he was told. Schefty is reading more into it than is there. Doesnt mean Schaub will play again this year but he is most definitely not out for the season at this time. Based on what I heard I would be surprised if Schaub plays again though. He is seeing at least two more foot specialists in the next 48 hours to determine the course of action.

We better hope the Saints one of the next two games or both. I think it's almost a sure thing that the Saints win the division and you're right about the tie breaker.

Ben Tate on espn radio when asked about Schaub: "nobody told Matt he's out for the year. I just left the training room and nobody said nothing about no out for the year."

Interesting. I certainly hope the report of him being out for the season is premature and that it will not be that serious, but I am preparing myself for the idea of Leinart/Yates being the quarterback from here on. Thankfully they still have a very good running game and will be getting Andre back. It sucks if he really is done for the year but I am not going to panic just yet. I still think they will be a tough team to beat and can still win the division.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I'd like to see Matt Schaub return early. Houston finally looked promising, not that I care about them, but the NFL needs the teams to be as competitive as possible. I like how Houston has been built and have united with all the injuries, so I hope it continues.

I wish Woodson held on to that INT. He has always been one of my favorite players.

The vikings got destroyed. They only scored since Cobb fumbled anyway.
